  1. Ate at the Village Inn location in Fremont, NE Saturday evening March 23rd. Food and service was good, management did not keep order in the establishment. Sitting in front of my table to the left was a group of elder men and women enjoying dinner, sitting behind me was a group of older ‘low life’ men talking loudly that could not speak a sentence without it containing multiple foul profanities. All patrons (and employee’s including the manager) were in earshot of the tables disgusting conversation. Several at the elder table enjoying their dinner had looks of disgust on their faces as they sat and had to listen to the barrage of profanities. I complained to the clerk when I cashed out and was told that the men at that table were just some of the ‘locals’ and apologized. I guess that makes it OK. Sad when the staff and management of a ‘family restaurant’ does not maintain control of their facility and allows this type of behavior to spoil other patrons enjoyment of a meal!!!! I will never eat here again!

  2. I arrived at the Moorhead, MN Village Inn about 8:30pm on Wednesday, May8, 2013. The restaurant was not full; however the service was slow. There were two servers trying to cover the customers while there were three sitting at a table preparing silverware and talking. It took fifteen minutes for the server to take my order: Chicken Ceaser Salad and Ice tea. It was another fifteen minutes for the food to arrive via another server. The original server brought my eh bill, but did not take my pie order and it was Pie Rush Wednesday. I waited for another 10 minutes and finally went to the register to pay the manager and get my pie. I cannot complain about the server as she was taking care of half of the restaurant. I am unhappy with the manager for not see that people were not receiving good service.

  3. We have lunch at the 29th and 0 str, Lincoln Nebraska every wed with grandkids. They treat us like family, always smiling. Journey is our waitress, she is always ready for us. I only have an hour for lunch and always makes sure I am not late.
